// T-shirt PATTI and WALDEN // is made in a fabric that has been developed with precious Mako cotton fibers which comes from upper Egypt. It’s a controlled appellation whose thread is extremely fine and silky. Grown to strict standards in only a small region of the nile delta, it cannot be mass produced. Using this extra-long-staple thread, we produce very durable and smooth knits that are a joy to wear and that hold their shape. The unique threads gives the fabric its shine and makes it resistant to twisting and pilling.

It is a natural fiber with a chemical composition similar to rayon viscose but compared to viscose this fibre gives a higher resistence and stability when washing. The fibre comes from austria and when developing this fabric, very fine yarns has been used to give the silk and heavy drapy feeling. Lyocell is considered to be nature friendly and sustainable.
The fabric in // the robe CYD // is designed in Prato, a few kilometers outside Florence, Italy. It is one of the country’s historic textile districts. At least since the 2nd half of the 19th century, the area was known for its wool recycling industry. This garment is produced in a 100% sustainable way.
